The South Coast of New South Wales is a place that abounds with magical beaches and unspoilt landscapes. It’s a place where you don’t have to look too far off the beaten track to uncover some of the country’s best-kept natural secrets. From white sandy beaches and perfect surf breaks to lush rainforests and untamed mountains, the South Coast is guaranteed to ignite your sense of adventure and open up a new world of discovery.

Secrets of the South Coast has been six years in the making and has taken us to some breathtaking destinations. We have published the 50 best images from various locations from around the coast and hinterland. Every image has been composed on our very doorstep, the South Coast of New South Wales, but you would be forgiven for thinking that we travelled all over the world to capture this diverse collection.

We purposely haven’t disclosed the location of each of the images. However, with an open mind you might be able to decipher the cryptic aspects of the writing and through that unlock the secret locations. The writing of Secrets of the South Coast captures the experience and adventure of each destination and tells our story.

Every image, every moment captured in time has also been described in words to add another dimension to the experience and take the reader on an adventure of exploration and discovery.It’s not that we don’t want to share these great locations with you; we just think it’s more satisfying if you find them yourself.

Our goal, through Secrets of the South Coast, is to encourage people to get out there and explore the South Coast for themselves.

We hope that the images will inspire you to take the time to explore the many wonderlands of the South Coast that are yearning to be discovered. It’s pretty hard to believe when you are the only person standing on an unspoilt white-sand beach with not another soul in sight that you’re only a couple of hours’ drive from a capital city. While you might be only a couple of hours from Sydney, you are a million miles away from care.

Get yourself ready and make yourself comfortable because you’re about to be taken on a journey through some of the most spectacular scenery this great southern land has to offer. Better still, put on your hiking boots and head outdoors to do some exploring of your own. You might find a South Coast secret of your own.
